Don’t Go it ALONE

Friday rolls around and it’s the start of the final quarter here in AU! Wow!
I must say, it’s great to see sentiment starting to pick up, even in Melbourne. Lockdown restrictions have been eased, the sun is out, weather is warming up. After a tough year, we are in for a great ending!
I recently talked about how to avoid mistakes when investing in the U.S (and mistakes are part of the process, so don’t get discouraged if you are making some!) and building a great team on the ground is one of the critical components to helping ensure success.

One member of that team I have not mentioned yet is the coach. Just like any good sporting team, one of the key positions to ensure continued success is the coach. Every business team needs the same ingredients for countless victories.
Even with experience, as the leader of the team you can get so caught up in the game it can be hard to see the “wood for the trees”.
It is the coach who can look down on the game, give you pointers, and help avoid pitfalls you may not see. The coach can guide you through the rapids when things get rough and back into calm waters.
No team, whether in business, sport, or any area, is at it’s best without a great coach.
There are also many examples of great teams suffering because of a poor coach. Make sure you choose wisely!
You want a coach with industry experience and more importantly, someone who resonates with YOU.
